Day-to-Day Responsibilities

As a Commercial HVAC Boiler Technician, you’ll handle the daily operation of boilers, ensuring smooth performance throughout your shift on a full-time schedule.

Your tasks include performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and keeping accurate operating records. Monitoring chemical feeds and exhaust emissions is part of your routine.

Monthly testing of all safety systems and annual inspection and tuning of boilers are integral parts of your job. Supervising various associated equipment is also expected.

Being available for emergency call-outs demonstrates your commitment. You’ll work closely with other trades and client staff for optimal efficiency.

Team spirit is important, as is being Rule 1415 certified. An EMS background is a plus but not necessary if you’re willing to learn.
