Job Responsibilities and Daily Work
As a DOT Delivery Assistant, your main duties will include assisting with the delivery and setup of furniture directly in customer homes and ensuring customer satisfaction at all stages of the process.
Your workday will start early, and you’ll work each route until completion, lifting and moving items weighing up to 150 pounds with a team-focused approach. Safety, communication, and meeting delivery deadlines are top priorities.
You will occasionally operate the delivery vehicle and may support warehouse or showroom activities as needed. Documentation of deliveries is handled via mobile or paper tools provided by the employer.
A clean driving record and the ability to pass background and drug screenings, including THC testing, are required. You will also need to be able to achieve DOT certification, covered by the company.
